Linda Lee Chaikin was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she taught high school English for four years in Long Island. Her first novel, The Girlfriends’ Guide to Pregnancy, became a #1 bestseller on The New York Times Best Seller list, and later became an award-winning television series. Linda is the cofounder of Write On! Publishing Company, the publisher of the bestselling series The Women's Health Guide to a Happy Pregnancy, The Girlfriend’s Guide to Baby Names, and The Girlfriend’s Guide to the City
She is also an active member of Women in Literary Arts (WILA).
